Hello, I’m David Radtke. As a designer, builder and writer, I produced a myriad of projects, some shown here, as a Senior Editor for The Family Handyman Magazine and as a freelancer for American Woodworker Magazine along with several special interest publications. My background in art and architecture plus years of experience in the building trades as a residential design/build contractor have given me a unique perspective in design and construction.

    Currently I am doing both custom design/build work for residential clients and freelance writing and designing for magazines. My portfolio includes built-in bookcases, custom furniture, cabinetry, outdoor projects, porches and computer-aided plan drawings for remodeling projects.
